Over 700 pieces on show: the most significant documents testify the development, culmination and final decline, with the Roman conquest, of this extraordinary civilisation. Exhibit organised by Palazzo Grassi in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities

The exhibition is open from November 26 2000 to July 1 2001, every day - except December 24, 25 and 31 2000 and January 1 2001 - from 9am to 7pm.

Access to Palazzo Grassi is allowed until 6pm, closing time of the ticket office.

From February 12 to May 20 Palazzo Grassi will stay open in the evening until 10pm every Friday and Saturday.
